The fourth year in the US. The spring is still the busy of rowing season. We encounter the dry season and even draught. The water level is relatively low in Bare Hill Pond and some regatta were cancelled or moved around due to the weird weather this spring.

Alice enjoyed her final soccer season at A-B Independence in BAYS. I really appreciated the Michael coaching the ladies in the past 4 years and really see the young girls’ wonderful bond with each other to create a successful team.

This is also the first full rowing season for Alice. She finished the single boat in Bare Hill Pond and began to build her bond with the team. She decided to give herself a try out for the local club in next season and earned a seat in FC Star Acton. We know Alice is still swing between soccer or rowing though.
The spring season ended with the Alice’s 8th end-of-year dance and Emily’s 2025 US Rowing Youth Championship at Sarasota, FL. This time Emily is Women Youth Eight, one of the most competitive event. We are very proud BAB young lady earned the 4th place in Final D. As one of the public school and small program, this awesome result is based on Coach Holly, all athletes, and parents’ efforts.

This is my 5th spring in the US. Jolie and I are still chasing our new dream in the new soil. Jolie is in LPN training program and makes her every effort to pass the lecture and practice lessons. In order to continue her 2nd career in the US, she is also planning to graduate from her associated degree. If so, this will be the first US local diploma here!
