Our family has been 4+ years since we moved to the US. In 2022, we had a road trip to Washington DC and visited museums and one best friend. in the following 2 years, we were occupied by attending many squash tournaments and training. We drove in New England area, far to Philadelphia and never got to the chance to advance further to south.
With diligent preparation, Jolie is re-enrolled her nursing program and expect to be busy with it. Meanwhile, Emily would open her next chapter, college life, in next fall. Therefore, Jolie came out to have us a family trip and accomplish the dream of visiting Disneyland and Universal theme parks. Before this, we visited Japan Disney in Tokyo in 2017 and Universal in Osaka in 2018. We also visited Disney in California in 2020 Jan, just before COVID pandemic.
As we planned to visit Disney and Universal in Orlando, FL our cat Yoyo began to suffer from decreased intake due to her bad teeth (I guess periodonitis). Yoyo is still able to tolerate pate with treats. But she needs us, especially Alice to help the feeding. Therefore, the final decision is to drive there and bring Yoyo with us.
This is also the first time that we plan the family road trip using ChatGPT. We chose the most efficient road trip via I-95, not swing by the landscape or historic area.

The agent mode of ChatGPT is very useful as a personal travel agent. We had a successful and incredible 2500 miles family trip in 2025 summer.
