Move my personal Blogging is has been a very old terminology. Nowadays, my two daughters absolutely say this loudly: who is using blog?
My journey in blogging started when I was in Taiwan, even back to 2000s when I was in college. Before blog era, I had my own ePaper (PCHome個人新聞台) to share some personal thoughts. I am unable to find any trace about my previous work on the internet now.
Then I tried different blog platforms, starting from Moveable Type, and Plog in early 2000s. I am happy to have this piece of my history in my old post of “我的部落格經驗“. More and more platforms sprang up like bamboo shoots after rain. Time passed by and some of them were unable to survive after competitions, such as wretch (無名小站) and Pixnet.
Actually, I was also a fan to set up my own blog and worked on F2blog and WordPress to create my personal blog with hosting service. I had many great and sweet memories with Emily and Alice on my self own blog (Quintin・穿越浮世繪) uisng WordPress for many years. At the end of the day, I realized it is true very challenging to blog when you need full energy to keep everything on track in the new environment.
My blog (Quintin・穿越浮世繪, http://life.quintinyang.net) will close soon because the contract with ServerZoo is ending soon. The maintenance fee is not cheaper than that of a hosting service in the US. ServerZoo service is actually good, though. But it is time for me to say goodbye to my past footprints and restart my new BLOG in my second new life on a new continent.
At the end of the day, I write in English to track my second new life in the US. Blog is still a better platform and conner for the personal records.
