農曆年前一週，開車去斗南鎮訪視安寧療護的病患，在回醫院的路上，左轉的過程中，一個閃失和視線死角，車子的右側猛然被高速的車子撞上。我只記得，阿的一聲，車子引擎冒煙熄火，安全氣囊噴出，胸口一陣劇痛後，車頭打轉180度停在十字路口，車子毀了，但萬幸的是人沒大礙。小舅子從台南北上，老婆從台北趕到虎尾東奔西跑後，我們才得知在這個死亡路口，這樣的結局，真的是老天爺的眷顧，老天大概也是要利用這次的機會，最後一次提醒我：駕車還是要停看聽，粗心大意不適合在馬路上。車子打轉的那岔挪，非常的不真實，腦中os問自己：真的被撞上了嗎？如果我出了什麼事，那Emily和老婆怎麼辦？現在，看到可愛的Emily，和老婆幫我承擔這一切，我才知道，我是如此的被眷顧。
老婆在事發之後，馬上南下陪伴我面對問題，還連續幾天努力不懈地幫我蒐集證據來爭取最大權益，看到家人的擔心不捨與難過，我發現真的要好好照顧自己，要對自己負責才能讓家人真正放心。
現在，打噴嚏和咳嗽時，還是伴隨胸口的陣陣疼痛，似乎隨時提醒我：老天爺的眷顧還是要留下印記，家人是自己最大的支持：老婆是最佳的平安福，Emily是最有效的撫慰劑。

Thank god, you are ok. It reminds me of a horrible but minor accident on high way during snow.
I didn’t know you have a blog until few days ago. It opens a window for me to a totally different world other than research. My wife and I will visit Taiwan from mid May to early June. Hopefully, we can meet up sometime.
