We helped Emily move into Trinity College on 3-Sep-2026. Not only for Emily, but it is also a milestone for our family

First thing: we are proud of Emily for making the effort to earn her Presidential Scholarship, a prestigious 4-year, full-tuition award. She really deserves this honor, as she excelled academically in high school and achieved remarkable rowing results at the Head of the Charles and the US Rowing National Championship.
Secondly, Jolie and I are proud of our lovely second daughter, Alice. She also demonstrated her talent in rowing and navigated her academic advancement. I learned a lot about how an American kid can excel and do better on her own. Her growth and achievement show her particular and special pathway, totally different from Emily’s. Jolie and I especially enjoy that both girls can laugh, enjoy their time together, and help each other when the time comes.

Jolie and I will remember this day forever as Emily took her first step on her own life’s journey with her dear lifelong friend and younger sister, Alice. In the meantime, Alice also started her own journey independently of Emily, but still with a strong link to Emily through AB High School, BAB Rowing, and squash at SquashWest. Jolie and I never imagined how lucky we are to have both lovely girls in this new, free life, full of every new possibility in the soil of the United States.
Emily, wishing you a bright, spectacular new chapter in your 4-year college life!
