Emily and Alice have tried various sports since they came to the US last summer. I never know they are passionate about sports with a crazy level. This summer, we decided on the final list of sports: squash and rowing. Two girls also started to sign up for some squash tournaments. The first one was on June 25, 2022, in Natick MA. I believed it was an excellent opportunity for girls to learn how to deal with losing the match.

Then, Jolie and I really understood the underlying of “Tournament”. It means we would TRAVEL with them for the tournament. Our first out of Massachusetts tournament was in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

Alice & Ella as referees
Frankly, only Alice attended the game because there was no one else in GU 15 with Emily. The biggest gain for Alice was to meet Ella, a very warm, upbeat, and full-of-energy girl. It is a competition and also a chance to meet new friends.

Emily was practicing solo

Emily got so many chances to “Solo Practice” since this is a small tournament (only GU11, GU13, BU13 & BU17). Jolie said that she is a Squash Cockroach, always presenting in a free court.

After the squash game, we were heading to Aladdin Broadway Show the next day!
