October is really a busy month, especially for Emily. We would attend four regattas at weekends, including Textile Regatta, New England(NE) Regional Championship, New Hampshire Championships Merrimack River Pembroke, and MPSRA Fall Championships.

Emily was a little disappointed to miss the chance to row in 43th Textile regatta d. Novice rowing was canceled at the last minute due to being too windy. However, she rowed twice this weekend for NE Regional Championship in Quinsigamond at Worcester, MA.

Actually, this was a sunny, not too windy weekend. It is still cold though because of occasional gusts. Emily raced Women Jr/Hs 4x+ on Saturday. The team of five girls rowed 14:27.7 for 1.1 miles and won one boat among all the Varsity teams.
